Custom Engine Test Cell (CETC)
Completely self-contained and customizable. The Custom Engine Test Cell (CETC) is designed and built to include everything needed to test your UAV engine. Just a few of the CETC testing capabilities include engine tuning and fuel economy mapping, engine and propeller power, durability and endurance evaluation (FAR 33), over-speed testing and throttle response evaluation. With a variety of components, such as a fuel system, cooling system, camera system and remote operation, and the NWUAV based operator control panel data acquisition, the CETC is the custom-built solution for your engine testing needs. - Available in 20 or 40-foot container (or it can be built with no container)
- Measures torque, fuel flow, ambient pressure and temperature, relative humidity, exhaust gas temperature, cylinder head temperature, engine speed, brake specific fuel consumption, and horsepower
- Can also be built to measure thrust, in-cylinder pressure mapping, and exhaust gas carbon monoxide
- Can be built with side hatches to accommodate entire airframes
- Uses NWUAV based operator control panel with selectable sample rates for data acquisition (DAQ)

Operate, test, develop and record engine performance anywhere! Customize to a single cylinder, twin cylinder or rotary engine. The Mobile Engine Test Stand (MTS) is built to your specifications and delivered worldwide. We'll train your team to use it too!
