For private testing, an authentic flying experience and direct access to NWUAV’s one-stop UAV shop — The Flight, Analysis, and System Test (FAST) Range is the Oregon test site you’ve been searching for! With a COA granted to Northwest UAV through the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the FAST Range began operation in September 2019. Conveniently located about an hour south of Portland and less than 15 minutes from NWUAV’s main campus, the FAST Range is an ideal testing site for state and local law enforcement flight training, current and new NWUAV customers, as well as newly registered UAV platforms ready for testing.
Distinctively, the FAST Range isn’t a standalone entity, as it has the Northwest UAV campus close by, offering customers UAV design, build and testing capabilities. With an on-sight dedicated machine shop, 3D printing operation, aero / mechanical / electrical engineering services, wire harness production, technical writers, an AS9100 production facility, and both ground and flight testing — Northwest UAV offers customers a one-stop-shop for their UAVs and components. The main campus also includes up to 15,000 sq/ft of professional and production/warehouse space solely dedicated to customer use.
